Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is essential in driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Christmas and Permanent light sales and a proven track record in lead generation, inside sales, outside sales and territory management. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding market needs, conducting product demos, and negotiating deals that meet customer requirements in Permanent and Christmas lighting.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize CRM for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads and opportunities for upselling existing products.
- Execute effective territory management strategies to maximize sales potential within assigned regions.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to address customer inquiries and provide expert advice on product specifications.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inside sales or Outside sales, with a strong understanding of lead generation techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products based on client needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey product information and value propositions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of technology sales is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
