Job Summary
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing disaster recovery testing initiatives to ensure the organization's resilience and continuity. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of disaster recovery concepts, including data replication, storage, backups, and network routing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This includes managing relationships with internal customers, technical SMEs, and third-party vendors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, procedures, and runbooks in alignment with corporate guidelines and policies.
- Coordinate annual IT disaster recovery testing for on-premises applications and supporting infrastructure.
- Facilitate business testing during disaster recovery exercises to ensure high levels of resiliency for critical business data, systems, and operations.
- Support on-site DR testing as needed.
- Evaluate and remediate issues identified during disaster recovery testing, ensuring timely identification, communication, escalation, and resolution.
- Conduct regular debrief meetings with key Technology and Business stakeholders to review DR testing results, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.
