Site Based Contract with a Hybrid Working Pattern Starting package of £23k (OTE) We’re recruiting for our Mortgage Enquiry Consultant team in Bradford with a starting salary of £21,801 along with an additional £500 flexible benefit. You would also be eligible for an annual performance-related bonus of circa. £1,500, which is discretionary, non-guaranteed and dependent on company and individual performance. Our Mortgage Enquiry Consultant is the initial role in Mortgage Telephony and allows us to gain experience and insight to support progression into the other Telephony based roles. The role is the first point of contact for Mortgage Customers and accountable for progressing and tracking initial enquiries through to proceeding with an application, ensuring our customers have a great experience and understand the next steps. Determining customer eligibility for mortgage product options, completing key checks and referring customers through to a Mortgage Relationship Manager or Mortgage Advisors, providing a seamless application process Delivering an exceptional customer experience in a complex and fast paced environment Adhering to all quality and control procedures ensuring the delivery of an excellent customer experience with all quality and risk objectives being met Determining and maximising any additional opportunities to discuss additional product offerings where there is a customer need Seeking and acting on feedback from colleagues to ensure high quality of referrals and customer satisfaction What you’ll bring. Excellent communication and customer service skills to allow you to speak with customers over the telephone (such as articulate, clear, good listening/questioning skills, showing empathy where appropriate) A positive attitude and a passion to support and help customers with their mortgage needs. You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below) It would also be nice for you to have. Excellent computer skills and the ability to navigate around multiple systems at pace The ability to manage and track your own contribution across all elements of the role with a structured and well organised approach to work The ability and/or willingness to utilise the available tools to support customers and their outcomes. This full-time permanent role is based in Bradford where you will be expected to spend 40% of your time in this office. You’ll work five seven-hour rotational shifts, between 08:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 16:00 Saturday, (lieu days will be given when working Saturdays). We have a clear and defined career progression plan that helps support colleagues to understand and be given the opportunity to experience the other Mortgage roles that are available, such as Mortgage Relationship Manager or Mortgage Advisor, which includes the potential to study for professional qualifications such as CeMAP. In addition, there are defined pay progression milestones that support with incremental increases in salary linked to performance and time in role. How we’ll reward you.
