Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with specialized expertise in Security Modules—Vulnerability Response (VR) or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)—along with a strong understanding of IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). This role demands a hands-on professional who can design and implement solutions tailored to customer needs while ensuring alignment with best practices and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development:
- Design, develop, review, test, deploy, and support out-of-the-box and custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Create and implement scalable configurations for VR, GRC, ITOM, and CMDB/CSDM modules.
- Develop enhancements and new components while ensuring high performance and maintainability.
- Requirements Analysis and Design:
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis to define the scope for new features and enhancements.
- Participate in design discussions, walkthroughs, and review sessions to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Provide technical design documentation aligned with architectural and compliance standards.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, coding standards, and reference architectures.
- Implement development and release methodologies, including Configuration Management (CM), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
- Customer Engagement and Support:
- Navigate complex environments, providing tailored support and working closely with stakeholders to meet their needs.
- Act as a technical mentor to less senior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Deliver presentations to management and customers, articulating ideas and technical solutions effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with at least 5 years of software development experience, demonstrating advanced skills in Vulnerability Response (VR).
- Hands-on experience implementing GRC solutions and integrating them with enterprise workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of ITOM components, CMDB, and CSDM frameworks, with a proven ability to optimize and manage these modules effectively.
- Development Proficiency:
- Demonstrated ability to set up and manage both out-of-the-box and custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong coding skills with a focus on best practices, security, and maintainability.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including gathering and translating requirements into robust technical solutions.
