What We’re Looking For
Santé is seeking a is looking for a Crisis Response System Deputy Director. This position will be responsible for the daily operation of the OPS, MCT, MCSS, School Based Intervention and adult diversion services, providing clinical assessment and evaluation services in the community, and supervising all related program staff. It requires travel to all 8 counties ESCRS serves on the Eastern Shore which includes every county aside from Worchester. Schedule will be flexible to meet the needs of the program and a company vehicle will be assigned. The ideal candidate will be familiar with community resources, able to collaborate with community partners, have some experience in training new staff, and be able to connect with professionals and consumers.
The Deputy Director Is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of OPS, MCT, MCSS, School Based Intervention and Adult Diversion services. The incumbent will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the ASG Handbook. In addition, they will perform planning, assigning, directing work, will appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems.

What You’ll Do
- Provides on going consultation and clinical oversight for all Eastern Shore Crisis and auxiliary services.
- Ensures accurate, thorough and timely documentation of all services Establishes and monitors all service work schedules and ensures all service lines are covered as outline by contract expectations and program needs.
- Available 24/7 as an on-call supervisor
- Daily review of open cases and consultation on difficult cases
- Provides supervision and trainings of Clinical Coordinators
- Fills in for MCT, OPS, MCSS, School Based Intervention Team, Adult Diversion services as needed
- In collaboration with the Director, develops policies and procedures and ensures implementation
- Develops and provides community trainings when requested
- Participates in Community Boards and Committees as needed
- Assists with record releases per client/agency request
- Assists in hiring process/interviewing of employment candidates
- Audits cases per standard operating procedures
- Checks work e-mail according to agency protocol
- Participates in and complete all required trainings
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Must possess and maintain current licensure in Maryland for LCPC or LCSW-C and must be a Board approved supervisor.
- Must be able to work with “high-risk” consumers who have mental illnesses as well as developmental and physical disabilities.
- We expect all staff to have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service; to comply with the rules and regulations of those organizations to which we are accountable; to have high ethical and professional standards of conduct; and to have an attitude of wanting to continuously improve their own professional performance.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and no more than two points on the driving record
- Must be comfortable driving a company car.
- Salary Range: $70k -80k Salary
