What We’re Looking For
Santé is seeking a Family Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS-F) to join our front line team in Centreville, Maryland shift employee, who will assess, evaluate, and perform crisis intervention techniques, and will develop a crisis plan for continuation of services related to individual clients. He or she will be responsible for all incident documentation and will be the on-site resource for any relevant clinical information, as well as the liaison for collaboration with other involved parties including families, friends, and other community providers (all under clinical supervision of an LCSW-C/LCPC).

What You’ll Do
- Promote client’s health and ensure client’s goals are developed and documented.
- Provide education and resources to clients and their families.
- Engage clients and families eligible to participate in Integrated Health Home Services.
- Identify community resources and provide ongoing support Clients and their families.
- Promote self-direction and skill development for clients and their families.
- Provide self-management and support and development of self-management plans for clients and their families.
- Provide assistance to clients and their families in accessing needed self-help and family peer support services.
- Advocate for clients and their families.
- Provide necessary support services to clients and their families.
- Assist clients and their families to identify and develop support networks.
- Connect clients and their families to peer and family support groups.
- Assist in wraparound planning processes.
- Assist in the development of crisis and other client and family-driven plans.
- All other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Peer support certification or willingness to be certified
- Personal experience of being the primary caregiver of a child who is consuming mental health/substance abuse services and having worked on own family’s recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with child(ren)’s diagnosis.
- Experience working with children and families in a community-based program preferred.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer knowledge and ability to navigate Microsoft Office.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule
- Ability to work effectively with individuals in need and the professional staff of service provider agencies.
- Accepting attitude regarding multiple pathways to recovery.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive a company vehicle. The employee must possess a valid Driver’s License, proof of current automobile insurance and may not have more than two (2) points on their driving record.
- Salary Range: 17.75-20.50 per hour depending on certification and experience.
- Mileage Reimbursement
- Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) Must be certified within one year of employment.
