Position Description
- Assists other technicians in maintaining all electric distribution equipment, all electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems/subsystems in a state of operational readiness.
- Assists senior technicians in installation, calibration, and testing new electrical equipment or existing equipment modifications.
- Assists in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of station instrumentation, pneumatic systems, and control systems.
- Assists in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of power distribution equipment, motors, and associated control equipment.
- Assists in the tuning, inspection and repair of environmental monitoring equipment.
- Completes work order documentation including work performed, labor required, and materials used.
- Follows job plans to complete basic preventative maintenance on electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Maintains a 24-hour/day availability during rotating on-call shifts.
- Maintains 24-hour/day availability for emergency work at night, on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Comply with all corporate safety requirements.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Complete all safety and OSHA training requirements on time. Adhere to clearance procedures.
