The Guest Experience Lead’s mission is to provide support in a non-managerial role to the theater and Production Managers in maintaining a multi-operational facility including movie theater auditoriums and restrooms, Guest Services, food areas, bar, concessions, bowling, projection, and gaming.
What would I be doing in this position?
- Ensure our guest experience is positive and memorable, responding to service recovery issues in an urgent and friendly manner. We want to maintain guests for life.
- Assist with immediate Guest recovery items including ticket swaps, ticket refunds, and Loyalty questions
- Assist with ongoing training of new team members to uphold high standards of teamwork and guest service
- Ensure implementation of safety standards and monitoring for compliance.
- Assist with driving per-caps and sales through suggestive and upselling techniques
- Ensure concession areas have adequate stock for projected attendance levels
- Completion of all required opening and closing checklists as assigned by the Production Managers
- Confirm that cleaning procedures and quality expectations are being followed by theater floor teams. Leads must approve an auditorium prior to it being opened to our guests.
- Assist management team with closing out team member POS stations utilizing the Santikos two-person integrity policy
- Other duties as assigned by the Theater Director
Qualifications
What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required and at least 18 yrs. of age
- Minimum six-month experience as a Guest Experience Specialist or equivalent position.
- Current TABC license and Food Handler Certification - required for Texas applicants
- Current state alcohol license and Food Handler Certification - preferred for applicants outside of Texas
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, and provide exceptional guest service skills.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, integrity, and dependability.
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work during the week, on holidays, weekends and late nights.
