Santin Auto And Truck Repair Center located at 9822 Perrin Beitel Road in San Antonio Texas 78217 is excited to announce that we are looking for individuals to join our Fast Growing Company!
We have immediate openings for the following positions:
DIESEL MECHANIC-inspects, diagnoses and repairs diesel powered vehicles and machines, like trucks, forklifts and trailers.
AUTO & TRUCK TECHNICIAN-inspects, diagnoses any required work. Tech will then then discuss all required repairs with service advisor. Once repair is approved by customer, the technician will then repair or replace any components needed to safely get vehicle back on the road.
Responsibilities
- Examine cars based on customer statements and determine appropriate repairs needed
- Present and explain estimates to complete repairs
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, checking fluid levels and rotating or balancing tires
- Replace or repair worn parts as needed
- Collaborate with other repair team members to ensure a vehicle is safely and efficiently operating to the driver’s needs
*Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a LIGHT/MEDIUM/HEAVY DUTY TECHNICIAN a plus
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of tools and equipment being used to repair vehicles
- Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills
