Looking for a highly motivated and qualified School-Readiness Social-Emotional Coach for Early Head Start, birth through 3 years old. SRG-GE coach will design and implement comprehensive EHS protocols that are aligned with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards related to Education for the best interest of children and in support of their families. Must be a critical thinker, able to work independently and with a team. Bachelors Degree Required.
Summary of Position :
Mentors, coaches, and / or assists teaching staff in the development, implementation and ongoing assessment of quality child development and education practices. Facilitates and leads a classroom 50% of the time. Coaches school readiness outcomes for all children, in conjunction with family service staff as appropriate and mentors / coaches teaching staff in the planning, organization and delivery of developmentally appropriate practices based on the individual and collective developmental abilities and potential of children. Must be able to work with children developing typically and atypically.
