THE OPPORTUNITY:
As part of the America’s team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Facilities, Health and Safety Manager. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Facilities, Health and Safety Manager, who is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of SANY America's facilities. This role will lead health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives to foster a safe workplace while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations of SANY America Inc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily maintenance, repair, and operation of company facilities, equipment, and grounds.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities upkeep, including vendor contracts and capital projects.
- Coordinate facility upgrades, renovations, and workspace planning to align with company growth.
- Manage third-party service providers, including cleaning, HVAC, landscaping, and other facility-related vendors.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and certifications.
- Design, implement, and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a compliant and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident response and establish protocols for reporting, documentation, and follow-up.
- Facilitate safety training programs for employees and contractors to promote awareness and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations, ensuring company adherence.
- Drive initiatives for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable facility management practices.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental standards.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, including fire, chemical, and natural disaster protocols.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of experience in facilities management and health & safety, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leading safety initiatives and achieving compliance in high-risk settings.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams and lead safety committees.
- Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and safety management software.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and make quick decisions under pressure.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Combination of office and industrial/manufacturing environments. May require occasional lifting, walking, or standing for extended periods. Exposure to various environmental conditions, including noise and temperature variations.
