Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure database to track cases and data related to missing and murdered Navajo individuals.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with tribal and federal regulations.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support project objectives and decision-making.
- Train staff on database usage and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data needs are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in database management and data security.
- Proficiency in database software and programming languages (e.g., SQL).
- Experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Knowledge of field of study.
- Knowledge of techniques and practices in field.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of instructional policies and procedures.
- Skilled in operating computers and office machines.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
