Position : SAP Cloud ALM Consultant/Architect (Contract)

Location : Skillman, New Jersey (Hybrid 3 Days)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) Consultant/Architect to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Cloud solutions and expertise in driving ALM best practices across the entire application lifecycle, including implementation, integration, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing SAP Cloud ALM solutions, enabling seamless application management, and supporting the organization's digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• SAP Cloud ALM Architecture & Design:
• Design, implement, and optimize SAP Cloud ALM solutions tailored to the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and gather functional and technical requirements for the ALM processes.
• Develop end-to-end ALM strategies and architectures for SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, and other SAP Cloud applications.
• Implementation and Integration:
• Lead the implementation of SAP Cloud ALM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Integrate SAP Cloud ALM with existing SAP and third-party systems, including ERP and non-SAP applications.
• Configure SAP Cloud ALM tools for monitoring, testing, and issue resolution.
• Application Lifecycle Management Best Practices:
• Define and implement best practices for managing the application lifecycle across SAP Cloud applications.
• Oversee the management of SAP application changes, ensuring smooth transitions between stages of the lifecycle (e.g., development, testing, production).
• Provide expertise in SAP Cloud ALM tools, ensuring efficient incident management, change control, and release management processes.
• Performance Optimization:
• Analyze and optimize the performance of SAP Cloud applications to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Proactively monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements based on findings.
• Training and Support:
• Provide training to internal teams and stakeholders on SAP Cloud ALM processes, tools, and best practices.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and enhance system capabilities.
• Project Management:
• Lead projects related to SAP Cloud ALM, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and business users, to deliver successful ALM projects.
  

Required Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud ALM architecture, configuration, and integration techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM tools, including SAP Fiori, SAP Activate methodology, and monitoring frameworks.
• Experience with SAP's cloud-based DevOps, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of SAP's best practices for ITSM (IT Service Management), change management, incident management, and release management.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP Cloud ALM or related certifications.
• SAP Cloud Platform, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP DevOps certifications.
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration projects.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration or API management.
