Job Summary
A dynamic and driven Sales Associate is required to cultivate and secure events for Saphire Event Group's boutique venues in the South Shore. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling multiple locations, an in-depth knowledge of the event industry, and at least three years of direct experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with colleagues, guests, clients, and vendors.
- Provide leadership and assistance to sales and other departments as needed.
- Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and schedule client tours.
- Negotiate client contracts within SEG parameters and secure contracts with appropriate documentation and payment plans.
- Upsell to continually increase revenue and report weekly tour and booking statistics.
- Prepare and report individual monthly sales and mentor junior consultants, producers, and interns.
Requirements:
- Catering or Event Sales experience (2 years preferred).
