Saphire Event Group, a boutique venue provider with a strong presence in the South Shore, is seeking an experienced Event Sales Professional. As a dynamic and driven individual, you will be responsible for cultivating and securing events at our properties while maintaining exceptional standards.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling multiple locations and spaces, possess in-depth knowledge of the event industry, and demonstrate at least three years of direct experience.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with colleagues, guests, clients, and vendors. You will act as both a team leader and player by providing assistance, support, and leadership to both sales and other departments.
A successful Event Sales Professional will respond promptly to client inquiries, schedule and conduct client tours, negotiate client contracts, and secure bookings within established parameters.
Additionally, you will continually increase revenue through upselling, report weekly tour and booking statistics, and prepare individual monthly sales reports for newly-obtained business and concluded events.
As a key member of our team, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior consultants, producers, and interns.
