Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
- Oversee expense management, ensuring cost efficiency and budget adherence.
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements, providing insights for financial decision-making.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring financial stability and liquidity.
- Process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and employee payments.
- Manage invoicing and payment processing, integrating with QuickBooks, Shopify, and CRM tools.
- Ensure tax compliance, assisting with sales tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with the Senior Accountant and Finance Team to optimize accounting workflows.
- Implement financial best practices, improving operational efficiency and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in accounting, financial management, or bookkeeping.
- Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and financial reconciliation.
- Experience managing cash flow, P&L reporting, and payroll processing.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, expense categorization, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and finance teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in multi-location financial management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Ability to streamline financial processes and reporting for scalability.
