What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up Technician position at SAPONA PLASTICS?
Responsibilities:
- To provide timely mold and machine set-ups to assure production schedules and customer requirements are met. Works in a manner to meet the goals and objectives for plant utilization and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to safely operate forklifts and/or moving equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting; as required.
Job Duties:
Assures a neat and clean molding area.
- Cleans machine after set-ups and removes any unnecessary tools or auxiliary equipment from the area prior to start-up.
Assures a safe work environment and maintains safe work habits.
Performs mold and machine set-ups and changes as required by the production schedule.
Provides complete set-up including any auxiliary equipment, conveyors, work tables etc.
Performs preventive maintenance as required on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Works closely with the Tool Shop and Manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
