What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech position at Sapphire at Brighton Court Assisted Living?
JOB SUMMARY:
Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in accordance with the established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. Sapphire will provide the training and resources to keep our employees engaged and maintain top quality care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
- Administer medications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
- Seek licensed staff assistance as needed
- As a Med Tech you will follow the plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
- Fosters a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- NAC/CNA or NAR or HCA required
- Must be 18 years of age

A one level community, you really get the sense of home. Recently we have been working on upgrading the communities lighting, repainting the entire main lobby and recently upgraded their EMAR system to Pointclick care. Lead by our Executive Director Doug Edington, the community continues to run at or above 98% occupancy.
