- Delivering quality patient care in compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and healthcare standards
- Assisting with new admissions and providing medical intervention as needed for emergent needs
- Communicating needs of residents to outside providers and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care
Requirements include:
- A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- A strong understanding of geriatric care and the needs of elderly residents
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
