Experienced Warehouse Person

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling of materials, order picking, and shipping and receiving operations. Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues that may arise.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed.
• Build pallets or other shipping containers for safe transport of goods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with materials handling processes and equipment operation is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus, especially regarding warehouse machinery.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
