Job Summary
The Cook supports all activities of the Dining Services Department including the Kitchen and Dining Room. This position is responsible for the quality of meals, delivery during meal service, and for compliance with special diets offered by the Community. As a Cook it is important to provide the highest quality food preparation, plate presentation, and prompt service to all residents.

WHO WE ARE: Bridgecreek Memory care is located in Lebanon, Oregon. With a capacity of 58 residents, the community is our largest Memory Care. The community is beautiful and well cared for by our Administrator Jody Burton. Of recent we had the pleasure of updating the dining room furniture and the living room furniture. The newest feature to this community is our stunning veterans room. Sapphire provides on going training, tuition reimbursement, competitive wages and generous incentives to all employees.

Responsibilities
- Follows the approved Menu Program or approved substitution menu that meets nutritional requirements, as directed
- Responds to resident likes and dislikes maintaining high resident satisfaction.
- Ensure that all foods are prepared to satisfaction of residents and in accordance with safe food handling practices
- All food items are stored appropriately and dated properly
- A Cook will help maintain a clean kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
