Job Overview: Be Part of the Beginning
Are you ready to turn your passion for live music into your next big career move?
We’re seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Founding Booking Agent to join a new artist management and booking startup built around purpose-driven music and long-term artist growth. This is not a hobby. This is a calling.
You won’t just be another agent — you’ll be the first agent, helping lay the foundation for our agency’s future. You’ll work directly with a rising artist already signed to a label and represented by our management, and you’ll lead booking efforts as we expand our roster region by region.
This is an opportunity to build your own legacy while building ours.
About Us
We’re a startup artist management and booking company dedicated to authenticity, connection, and community through music. Our artists have something real to say — and we believe the right live experience can change lives. We’re building something intentionally, and we’re looking for someone just as intentional to join us on the ground floor.
What You’ll Do
- Be the primary booking agent for our currently signed artist, receiving 100% of the agency’s commission from all gigs you secure.
- Be the primary booking agent for a roster of 6-12 newly signed artists.
- Handle all aspects of the booking process: outreach, pitching, follow-ups, contract negotiation, and scheduling.
- Build and maintain strong, authentic relationships with venue talent buyers, festival promoters, and live event partners.
- Help shape and develop our internal systems, outreach strategies, and booking processes as we grow.
- Actively contribute to the agency’s culture, brand voice, and mission of elevating authentic, resilient, and story-driven artists.
What’s In It for You?
- As the Founding Booking Agent, you’ll receive 100% of the agency’s standard booking commission for all gigs you book for our currently signed artist.
- A higher 70/30 split for the next 11 artists signed with the agency.
- As we scale, there is exclusive potential for equity, overrides on junior agents, and long-term leadership roles in the company structure.
- Flexible, remote work – no set hours, work from anywhere
- Be part of an artist’s journey and contribute to their rise in the music industry
- Access to live music events and networking opportunities
Ideal Fit
- You’re a natural connector, excited by building genuine relationships in the music industry.
- You have prior experience in live music, event sales, or entertainment booking, or you're confident you can learn fast.
- You’re in a life season where you're ready to make a shift — maybe you’re leaving a corporate job or pivoting careers — and want to build something that matters.
- You are financially able to work on commission-only for the first 4–6 months as the roster and bookings grow.
- You want to build a career, not just land a gig — and you’re drawn to working in a mission-driven, values-first environment.
- You’re independent, hungry, and ready to grow with a startup from the inside out.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position, meaning you control your workload and earning potential. If you’re hungry for success, love live music, or everybody knows your name in the places to be, we want to hear from you!
