Benefits
- Signing bonus of $1,200 for full-time employees, paid in quarterly installments upon successful completion of the initial 90-day probationary period.
Job Responsibilities
Key Duties:
- Promote resident hygiene and comfort.
- Distribute food and water, and assist with feeding residents.
- Assist with repositioning and transferring residents.
- Ambulate and transport residents.
- Record and total fluid intake and output.
- Weigh residents.
- Document on flow sheets.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and postmortem care.
- Respond to call lights in a timely manner.
- Perform perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
- Report all observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Makes beds and keeps resident's units clean and in order.
- Prepare room for housekeeping after resident discharge.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Current NJ CNA Certification.
- Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
