Associate Fiduciary (Full-Time)

A fiduciary is a person legally entrusted to act on behalf of another party, prioritizing their interests above all else. Our firm has 2 fiduciaries, both certified by the Center for Guardianship Certification (CGC). We serve a few dozen folks in town as their Attorney-in-Fact, Trustee, or Personal Representative. We are looking to hire an Associate Fiduciary who will achieve that certification and serve our clients in these same legal roles as part of a long-term commitment. More information regarding the CGC’s certification is available below.
The ideal candidate would be a personable professional with robust and client-centered ethics. They would have the ability to self-direct through many open tasks and would be diligent in their documentation and organization.

· Very patient, even when it is their fifth time circling the same explanation with the same client
· Ready to say yes to new tasks or changes, with the presence of mind to ask for clarifications

Retirement and insurance plans would initiate after 90-day probationary period is passed; PTO accrues from date of hire but cannot be used until probationary period is successfully passed.
The expectation for this role is that the Associate Fiduciary will achieve their certification with the CGC no later than 9 months post-hire and will thereafter serve various clients as an appointed representative in their legal documents, such as Attorney-in-Fact (aka Power of Attorney), Trustee, Personal Representative, and Healthcare Representative.

Candidates who are successful in this role should be prepared for a long-term commitment. However, we understand that you may not wish to begin investing in your fiduciary certification until you are certain about us. Because of that, we will not require a new Associate to begin working towards that certification until the end of their probationary period.
Unfortunately, the cost of achieving the CGC’s certification is not something that Sapphire can currently cover. We hope that the competitive compensation package, growth opportunities, and positive workplace experience will incentivize an Associate to choose the fiduciary career path.
To apply to this role, please apply on really with your resume and include a brief personal statement describing who you are, what makes you tick, and why this job posting appeals to you. If really does not let you attach an additional statement, please email erin@sapphire-resc.com with the subject "really Applicant - Name" with the personal statement in the email body, resume attached.
We look forward to meeting you!
