What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Sappington Pro Outdoor?
The technician’s responsibility will be to work on their assigned work per the instructions of a service advisor. You must maintain compliance with clocking in and out correctly on customer or SPO units. You are responsible for documenting all work performed in the internal notes. If a part is to be ordered you are responsible for making sure the service ticket is taken to the service parts technician to ensure proper ordering of parts is completed or in stock parts are received. In regards to powersports, you are responsible for reporting all warranties to the warranty clerk, and ensuring any necessary documents, pictures, and approvals are completed prior to unit being completed. Lawn & garden warranties need pre-approval by management if cost of repair exceeds $750.00. As a technician you are responsible for providing the basic tools you will need to complete service work. Any speciality tools will be provided by SPO. You are also responsible for maintaining and keeping current any training and certification needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
