How you will make contributions that matter...
- In accordance with SOP’s, stage, weigh and prepare products.
- Actively monitor pasteurization process and record data, ensure accurate chart record controls in accordance with Company, state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Perform all required analytical testing. Report any product deviations to the department supervisor.
- Follow all allergen protocols.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in detail without deviation.
- Operate tanks, pumps and operations equipment.
- Perform and document equipment clean-up, CIP/SIP operations, tanks, lines and equipment.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments.
- Safe operation of a lift truck.
- Accurately and neatly complete records, system data entry and documentation.
- Perform all department environmental controls.
- Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines.
- Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.
- Work together as a team.
- Other duties as required by management.
You are best suited for the role if you…
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.
- Strong math skills.
- Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus.
- Lift truck certification or the ability to obtain a lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Truck).
- Strong technical and math skills.
- Ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in English.
- Demonstrated work history.
- Good attendance is a must.
