Job Summary:
This position plays a pivotal role in the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished goods in accordance with customer orders, specifications, and requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, effective communication abilities, and a demonstrated work history.
- Operate material handling equipment such as lift trucks, pallet jacks, and electric battery handling equipment while adhering to OSHA Powered Industrial Truck requirements and company policies.
- Effectively manage automated warehouse management software controls, inventory scanning tools, and other technological resources.
- Loading and unloading trailers in accordance with internal/external requirements is also a key responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Load refrigerated trailers based on customer specifications.
- Foster a culture of FIFO and inventory control practices and procedures.
- Perform pre and post-load inspections of trailers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Physical Demands:
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently or 100 pounds with assistance.
- Adhere to personal protective equipment guidelines and follow approved chemical handling procedures when working with chemicals.
