How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
- Supervises and coaches whey department employees to meet performance objectives by providing effective and strong leadership.
- Plans and schedules daily operations of the whey plant to maximize the efficient and effective use of personnel and equipment in producing the desired quality and quantity of products.
- Communicates and interacts effectively with all plant employees.
- Recommends changes to manufacturing procedures when necessary to maintain product specifications, minimize waste, improve efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
- Responsible for training of hourly employees in equipment operation, manufacturing procedures, shipping and receiving, sanitation, product loss prevention, food safety and personal safety habits and procedures.
- Verifies that all products meet specifications and quality standards before shipment to the customer.
