The Artificial Perception and Threat Awareness (APTA) division at Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) is making the future of Aerospace and Autonomy happen now, with a charter to create new and emerging sensor perception technologies for Commercial & Military markets. Our innovative technologies include RF, optical and acoustic sensors enabled with innovative embedded algorithms, machine learning and robust networking.
SARA is looking for a talented, motivated, and experienced Signal Processing Engineer to support activities out of our Cypress, CA location. The candidate will have the opportunity work alongside other talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers.
Core Responsibilities :
- Create innovative optical and acoustic signal processing algorithms
- Analyze test data to assess algorithm performance and drive improvements
- Support software team's implementation of the algorithms
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to explain complex signaling systems
- Other duties as required and needed for the program

Salary Range : $136,000 – 178,000 SARA considers a range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience, location, and qualifications, and established government contract wages.
