Title: Equipment Engineer
Location: Weirton, WV
We are looking for a hands-on individual to help us develop our core technology by contributing to our Equipment Maintenance Team. In this role, individuals will work directly with our Operations team, to design, troubleshoot, and repair our production equipment. The successful applicant will be comfortable with hands-on work as well as detailed mechanical design.
What you'll do:
- Develop novel solutions to challenging manufacturing problems
- Focus on the development of equipment by collaborating with Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. You will bring a wealth of equipment troubleshooting and creativity used to develop world class, fully automated equipment.
- Collaborate with process and controls engineers in the start-up and debugging effort for manufacturing equipment and processes at new production sites
- Design, modify, and troubleshoot equipment, lead equipment specification and design reviews
- Be a champion for safety.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in the Mechanical or electrical engineering field
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), Solidworks experience preferred
- Automation experience a plus
- BS required in Mechanical Engineering or related field
