Saraga International Grocery is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Clerk to provide exceptional service to our customers. The Meat Clerk will be responsible for cutting, trimming, weighing, packaging, and displaying various meat products.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to company standards and customer requests.
- Weighing, packaging, and labeling meat products for sale.
- Stocking and rotating meat displays to ensure freshness and appealing presentation.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions about products and offering suggestions.
- Operating meat cutting equipment, such as saws, grinders, and slicers, safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring inventory levels and notifying management of low stock items.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to [Weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Basic math skills.
- Prior experience in meat cutting or food handling is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
