You'd be joining a tight-knit data engineering team, working side-by-side with the Director of the data and a couple database developers. While the title is data engineer, there is a split in the role between developer and architect. From designing architecture and developing standards for data layers, your main focus will be working on preparing and integrating data across different platforms to provide a smooth experience for the entire firm.
Recognized as a top 10 private equity firm within the US, this firm is extremely tech-driven. It's required you have Databricks experience as they are working with the newest and even preview realeases of the platform.
Upon joining, you'd jump straight into preparing data using the latest cloud-backed technologies. You'd be building complex data processing pipelines both real time and batch jobs using either control flow or Azure services, combined with the use of Python & SQL as well. With that being said, most of these skills are something you already have under your belt as it's a senior role and they are looking for someone with at least 5 years experience in data engineering.
