What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer (Consultant) - Activist Hedge Fund - up to $180/hr position at Saragossa?
Join a data-intensive team responsible for the core data platform of one of the oldest and most successful Hedge Funds under continuous management in NYC.
With your expertise in C# and SQL, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining centralized data services used throughout the firm. You'll be working with SQL to structure and partition high-volume, daily incoming data in order to ensure seamless access and optimized query performance. The team also handles complex ETLs and collaborates with a dedicated CI/CD team to streamline deployments.
Ideally you have over five years of professional software development experience, with a background in building and implementing data solutions in C#/.NET. Having a deep understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms as well as knowledge of deployment with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes would really set you apart.
This would be a hybrid, contract-to-hire position in Midtown Manhattan.
