From day one you'll be troubleshooting, escalating & implementing. It will be good to have a mixutre of Cisco and Palo Alto experience. It's likely you have similar experience since this role is looking for someone who is at a mid-level in experience.
While it's good to have a general knowledge of multiple systems, your expertise in a couple specific systems will be the most beneficial since you'll be developing high-performing network architechtures that facilitate data from various trading platforms.
If you have experience working in financial services, in a buyside or sellside enviornment that's going to be an additional plus. It will be an even bigger plus if you have knowledge in low latency as well.
