OR Liaison

OR Liaison This position will establish a relationship with SPD and their team to facilitate communication between our departments. This position will ensure timely turnover to improve OR efficiencies. This position will track and perform audits to track trends to look for opportunities for improvements. This position will work with direction provided by the operating room charge RN’s, coordinators, manager, and director. Any other duties assigned by management to support the Operating room team., Audits to be performed as requested by leadership, Communicating needs to Sterile Processing related to missing items, contaminations, etc., Completes assigned tasks in alignment with infection control standards, Demonstrates adherence to the organization and the department specific safety standards and guidelines., Demonstrates appropriate customer service behaviors as exemplified by a positive attitude and an ability to optimize operational processes., Demonstrates flexibility with work days and hours to best cover department needs., Facilitate turnovers to ensure complete and timely room turnover, Manage operating room equipment, Manage work orders/repairs, Serve as a lead to the operating room assistant team. Ensuring daily duties are complete and timely to set the next day up for success. High School (Required)
