RN ICU

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide appropriate interventions
• Conduct vital sign assessments and manage patient responses
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
• Provide care for patients across various demographics, including geriatrics and children

Experience

• Prior experience in ICU or critical care settings is preferred
• Proficiency in memory care, Athenahealth, clinic operations, and infectious disease care is advantageous
• Strong understanding of discharge planning, diagnostic evaluation, and infection control practices
• Familiarity with providing care to geriatric patients and children is beneficial

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2,164.00 - $2,262.00 per week
