Certifications : ARDMS, BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Must-Have : Ultrasound experience performing abdominal, OB / GYN, small parts, and vascular studies
Job Description :
- Responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and assisting in their interpretation.
- Conduct a variety of exams including abdominal, OB / GYN, small parts, and breast, as well as specialty procedures such as biopsies and aspirations.
- Perform vascular examinations such as venous duplex, venous mapping, carotid duplex, and arterial Doppler.
- Assess patient history and symptoms to determine the appropriate level of study.
- Assist staff physicians as required.
- Follow protocols and hospital policies for ultrasound procedures.
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and operational checks.
- Prepare accurate and timely written documentation related to ultrasound exams, following established policies and procedures.
- Produce high-quality images and provide assistance in their interpretation.
- Provide training to students to ensure competency.
- Send images for interpretation in accordance with department procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the hospital and clinical training programs from various schools.
Note : Candidates within a close radius to the facility will not be considered. Shift differential, sign-on, and relocation bonuses are available, with details discussed during the interview. No on-call duty is required.
