Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Media Marketing Intern at Sarah Cotty Real Estate | Serhant, offering a commission-based opportunity for any leads generated through social media efforts. The role is located in New York, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Social Media Marketing Intern will be responsible for creating and managing content for TikTok and Instagram, focusing on property tours, luxury real estate insights, and lifestyle branding. You will assist with weekly in-person content shoots (local to NYC), edit reels with trending audios, optimize content using hashtags, and implement the 1.80 strategy for growth. You will also create engaging and trendy captions that align with brand voice, post carousel swipes, and ensure consistent brand messaging. Additionally, you will use Canva to design eye-catching flyers for events and Instagram Stories for property promotions.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in TikTok and Instagram, including in-app editing, trending audios, and hashtag strategy
- Experience with social media management tools and the 1.80 strategy
- Strong skills in video editing, specifically reels and short-form content
- Ability to shoot high-quality content locally in NYC on a weekly basis
- Experience with Canva to design flyers for events and Stories for property marketing
- Knowledge of posting strategies, including carousel swipes and creating engaging, trendy captions
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
