Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker for Adults to join our team at Sarah, Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with individuals who require support with daily living activities, personal care, and socialization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and/or developmental delays in their homes or community settings
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Encourage socialization and participation in community activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized support plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental delays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing person-centered support
