Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a registered vascular tech or echo tech willing to train on vascular responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate imaging, and providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate findings to providers and assist in diagnosing vascular conditions. This is a salaried position so that pay is steady regardless of volume in the clinic; the schedule is very flexible and some work may be done remotely at home.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, including vein mapping and DVT studies.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture images of vascular structures for diagnostic purposes.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, identifying any abnormalities that may require further investigation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care decisions.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques related to sonography.
