Residential Manager (FEMALE REQUIRED) - adults w/ disabilities

*Purpose:
FEMALE REQUIRED for this position. SIGN-ON BONUSES AVAILABLE. The SARAH Tuxis Agency supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
This House Manager will oversee the daily operations of two of our residential facilties, supporting 6 residents, in East Haven. Position will oversee the operation of each home as well as 8-10 staff to ensure the individuals we support meet all medical and social outcomes in their daily lives. 2-3 years of experience managing in this type of setting required. DDS experience preferred, but not required.

The Group Home Manager Must:

• Model a person centered philosophy and provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Managers.
• Have a working knowledge of applicable state and federal systems effecting the individuals we support (DDS, DSS, Social Security, HUD, etc.)
• Demonstrate team leadership and participate in the LON Assessment, IP Development, support strategies, and Outcome Development.
• Be able to be flexible and work weekends if needed.
• Make sure that the regulations of these organizations are adhered to to ensure the home is in compliance.

Training and Certifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but comparable field experience is taken into consideration.
• Must be able to obtain CPR, First Aid and state Medication Certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
