Cake Decorator- Cold Stone Creamery

Coldstone Creamery is hiring immediately for a Cake Decorator to join our team!

We are looking for an experienced Cake Decorator to join our Cold Stone Creamery here in Troy Ohio! If you're interested in working in a fun, energetic, clean, conducive environment then we are the place for you. Experience decorating cakes is required. Daytime and weekend availability is required. Please do not apply if you cannot work during daytime or weekends.

One opening available. Shifts are generally from 10 am to 6 pm, including weekends. This position will start as a part-time and it can lead into a full-time position.

Requirements:

Prepare and decorate cakes according to assigned specifications including cakes for special orders, online, and walk-in customers.

Assist in the success of the restaurant by ensuring guest satisfaction through adhering to standards for quality, value, service and cleanliness.

Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant employees and customers to foster and promote a cooperative and pleasant working climate.

Communicate all significant issues, both positive and negative, with management staff

Function:

Assemble and prepare cakes (or ready-to-decorate cakes may be used), including decorating with icing, gel, drawings, decorating kits, edible images and letterings. Ensure all cake products meet Cold Stone Creamery standards of quality and excellence.

Prepare and decorate cake products according to customer specifications and all applicable standards and procedures.

Properly and safely operate and maintain cake and ice cream equipment while following all health and safety standards.

Maintain an adequate inventory of decorated cakes at all times, including back-up cakes during holidays, national promotions and other peak cake occasions.

Keep display freezer full at all times to the proper level with a variety of cakes attractively displayed.

Take and fill customer cake orders in a professional and timely manner.

Be pleasant and alert to customer needs.

Stock and execute proper rotation of products.

Keep cake production area and equipment clean and sanitary throughout shift.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cake decorating and food preparation
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
• Time management skills to efficiently meet customer demands in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
