Job Description:
Candidate with a strong background in test automation development, with proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript (Mandatory), and a solid understanding of SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript
- Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in test automation development role using Cypress and typescript.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
