Job Description:
Looking for a GKE (Google Kubernetes Engineer) for Cloud team.
Years of Experience: 6 years
Skills required:
GCP (VPC, Compute Engine, PSC, VPN, GKE, IAM, Monitoring, Logging, LB, DNS, firewalls, routes, CLI).
GCP Services (knowledge on PubSub, GCS, SQL, MemoryStore, & any others), GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Incident Management, Production Support.
Primary skills are:
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Understanding of cloud networking, VPC, and cloud storage solutions on GCP.
- Knowledge on GCP services (pubsub/memstore,big query/cloudrun/cloud functions etc.) is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Knowledge of container orchestration, Kubernetes & Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab ) and automated deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of running and writing Ansible scripts.
- Proficient in monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus or Grafana.
- Working experience in incident management tool such as Service Now.
