Job Overview
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the research department. They are tasked with administering clinical trials.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collect, code, and analyze data obtained from research
- Inform participants about study objectives and provide educational resources
- Administer the medications involved in the trials to patients, draw blood and administer EKGs
- Adhere to research regulatory standards and ethical standards
- Monitor research participants to ensure adherence
- Maintain detailed records of studies per FDA guidelines, including drug dispensation
- Answer phone calls and answer messages
- Follow instructions and delegated tasks as directed by the Research Manager
- Participate in subject recruitment efforts
- Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by management
