Title: Admissions Assistant Manager
Reports To: Admissions Manager
SUMMARY OF POSITION, FUNCTION, AND DUTIES
Under the leadership of the Admissions Manager and Head of School, the Admissions Assistant Manager efficiently works to promote and increase enrollment of Sarasota Christian School through tours, events, and effective communication with prospective families. This position shares duties with the Admissions Manager to ensure all the necessary paperwork for admissions and enrollment is completed. The Admissions Assistant Manager always promotes and upholds the mission of the school and aims to enroll students and families who also harmonize with the school’s mission.
Under the direction of the Admissions Manager, the Admissions Assistant Manager is assigned to fulfill the mission of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ which is to equip students with a love for Christ, a passion to learn, the courage to lead, and a commitment to serve. The school administration may assign additional duties or specify other functions needed as may be appropriate for specific staff posts.

JOB DUTIES
ENROLLMENT OF PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
- Determine goals and implement activities to reach yearly objectives within the Admissions Department
- Lead program and procedures for student recruitment and retention
- Identify, coordinate, and participate in special events involving prospective families
- Schedule and plan tours or open house events
- Coordinate campus tours and conduct meetings/tours with individual families as required
- Politely answer phone calls to the department and assist with the caller’s needs
- Prepare and present monthly data of enrollment reconciliations and reports
- Communicate with the Principals about inquiries in process, barriers, and next steps
NEW STUDENT PROCESSES
- Through the discovery process and in conjunction with the finance office, assist families with understanding tuition rates, payment options and scholarship options
- Partner with the finance office to collect testing payments and create new family FACTS accounts
- Communicate enrollment, withdrawals, scholarship award information with the finance office
- Notify faculty and staff when new students enroll
- Link new families with an “Admissions Ambassador” parent
- Work with the Admissions Manager to connect with new families several times before starting (touch points)
- Update and send out Admissions eBook to new families
OVERALL SUPPORT DUTIES
- Support and participate in school-wide events, activities, and responsibilities
- Be willing to help with special projects or events
- Demonstrate initiative with tasks and projects within admissions
- Understand and use FACTS system for all Admissions day to day tasks
- Willingness to learn FACTS for a more in-depth use and better operation
- Plan with the Admissions Manager the yearly calendar of monthly tasks and ensure all monthly tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Assist with monthly and yearly updates in FACTS, by telephone, on the website and in the office files
