Do you have experience working in a warehouse? You will assist in the operations of the warehouse including ordering, electronic record keeping, delivering inventory, and maintaining all County-wide assets. Apply and join this high-performing team today!- Maintain an adequate supply of parts, materials, and equipment associated with water and wastewater repair and maintenance.
- Set adequate reorder points for all stock items.
- Process purchasing and pricing information.
- Maintain a computerized inventory system with barcodes.
- Coordinate the inventory system with work orders.
- Assist in the picking/kitting process.
- Maintain the warehouse and associated yard locations in a clean and safe condition.
- Maintain security and accountability of all parts, materials, and equipment.
- Pull daily reports that support order fulfillment.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in parts or inventory control or related field.
- A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move 50 or more pounds.

Starting Pay Range: $17.72 (Step 1)
Potential higher pay (steps) for those with multiple years of experience.
