What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at Sarasota County Office of the County Attorney?
SARASOTA OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY seeks attorney to practice litigation and join our high-achieving team. Minimum two years’ experience preferably with jury trial experience to handle the defense and prosecution of claims on behalf of the County. Government experience is also preferred but not required for consideration. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Membership in The Florida Bar required. By County policy only nonsmokers are eligible for hire. County employees fully support the community in the event of disaster or declared emergency.
