Express Lube Technician

Overview

Sarasota Dodge is currently seeking a highly skilled Lube Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and performance of our vehicles by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and services. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive repair and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a positive customer experience.

- Site appearance responsibilities to include: sweeping floors, taking out trash, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the shop

- Work closely with other technicians and sales staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices to ensure accurate and safe repairs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and adhere to all dealership safety policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair techniques.
- Must be 19 and older.

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Valid driver's license for over 3 years
- Certification in automotive service or repair (ASE) preferred.
- Experience with oil change procedures and automotive diagnostics is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
