Job Summary
The LPN II expediter works on prioritizing clinically stable patients for discharge from hospital. The LPN II expediter assists the physician in entering orders and removing barriers for discharge, and works closely with the leadership of all ancillary departments in the escalation of testing and resulting. The LPN II expeditor utilizes advance skills in patient care after education and training.
Required Qualifications
- Require graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Require thirty (30) hour IV certification.
- Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer one (1) year of acute care experience.
